Talk Conduit With Atkore at Our Next Counter Day

Some runs call for EMT, others for PVC, and plenty of jobs use both.

What Each One Does Best

EZ Pull EMT and Schedule 80 PVC aren’t competing for the same spot on the truck. They’re built from different materials for different conditions, and each has a function it serves best. Most installs call for one or the other, and a fair number use both.

The Difference Is on the Inside

Looking from the outside, EZ Pull EMT looks like any other steel conduit. What you don’t see is the difference on the inside. Atkore lines the inside with their E-Z Pull coating, a smooth interior surface that reduces the drag on your wire, providing a quicker, easier pull. The steel still carries its weight with mechanical protection for your conductors and a Flo-Coat galvanized exterior that holds off corrosion, but that interior coating is what you’ll notice on pull day.

Key Features:

  • E-Z Pull Interior Coating: Smooth interior surface for faster wire pulling.
  • Flo-Coat Galvanizing: Patented inline process for long-lasting exterior protection.
  • Ductile Steel Construction: Bends faster and easier during installation.
  • Mechanical Protection: High-grade mild strip steel protects conductors and extends service life.
  • UL 797 Listed: Meets the applicable Underwriters Laboratories safety standard for EMT.
  • Buy America Compliant: Meets Buy American, Buy America and Build America Buy America (BABA) requirements.
  • Available Sizes: Trade sizes from ½” to 4″.
  • Elbow Options: Available in 45°, 90° and large-radius 90° configurations.

Corrosion Can’t Touch It

Moisture, chemicals and damp ground don’t leave a dent on Schedule 80 PVC. With no steel to rust, Schedule 80 PVC is ideal for wet, corrosive and outdoor runs where metal would need extra protection to hold up.  With non-conductive properties and rigid enough to hold its own on tough installs, it’s the one you reach for when corrosion poses a serious threat.

Key Features:

  • Non-Corrosive and Non-Conductive: Won’t rust or carry current, a real advantage in harsh environments.
  • Proven Durability: Holds up in demanding applications where conduit takes a beating.
  • ETL Listed: Tested and listed by Intertek to the applicable safety standard.
  • NEMA TC 2: Built to the NEMA standard for rigid PVC conduit.
  • Buy America Compliant: Meets Buy American, Buy America and Build America Buy America (BABA) requirements.
  • Available Diameters: Trade sizes from ½” to 8″.
