In honor of National Small Business Week
While businesses of all sizes contribute to our economy and standard of living expectations and realizations, the small businesses tend to be the work horses doing the heavy lifting. Moving technology forward; improving upon materials and processes to build safer, more environmentally friendly, and more resilient structures; enhancing our abilities to communicate and interact with one another in order to lead healthy and fulfilling lives, is at the core of millions of companies’ and employees’ charters.
Sometimes, the tiny part one plays in the big picture of building a global experience seems insignificant, but like any complex structure, the system relies on its component parts for its viability. Designing solutions, managing projects, orchestrating schedules, and delivering material to jobs is not glamorous work, but it’s an honor, and a responsibility we take pride in, to be a part of the engine that keeps our country running.
This week is “National Small Business Week” and SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet has an inspiring message to share.
